The Lincoln Park Conservancy, Inc. (TLPC) is a 501c3 community-based organization in New Rochelle, NY whose purpose is to preserve, promote and document the rich history of the Lincoln Avenue Corridor and its connection, both historically and present-day, to the larger community of the City of New Rochelle and beyond. As the historic center of the Black community in New Rochelle for nearly 100 years, the Lincoln Avenue Corridor is a remarkable reflection of the cultural, economic and political journey of Black America in this second largest city in Westchester County, NY.

grow! Lincoln Park Community Garden
grow! Lincoln Park Community Garden was established in 2012 to commemorate the parents and students who fought so valiantly to desegregate the New Rochelle School System with the Taylor Case (1961). (LINK to YouTube video) This 10,000sf organic garden contains 65 beds that provide fresh produce to community residents and the food insecure in New Rochelle

Native Plant & Butterfly Garden
The Native Plant and Butterfly Garden at grow! Lincoln Park Community Garden contains over 40 types of native perennials, shrubs and grasses. The 800 square foot garden serves as a living classroom to teach students and adults of every age about native plants.

TLPC History and Culture Center
is an art gallery, digital museum and performance space that is opening the Q4 of 2022 in the heart of New Rochelle’s downtown arts district (LINK to video rendering). The History and Culture Center bridges the historic, cultural, and geographic barriers that separate the Lincoln Avenue Corridor from the rest of New Rochelle by highlighting the history of the people who have lived in the community.

grow! Eat
is a food security program that addresses the critical challenge of food insecurity among residents of New Rochelle, estimated to be as many as 40,000, by significantly increasing the supply of fresh, organic produce to the area soup kitchens, food pantries, and other distributors of food to the needy.
