Linda Tarrant-Reid – Executive Director

Linda is a long-time resident of New Rochelle, NY.  She is an author and historian who has written extensively about the history of Black America and is currently the Garden Administrator of grow! Lincoln Park Community Garden.  Linda is also a Board Member of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts and the Curator of the NRCA Rotunda Gallery at City Hall.  She was recently appointed by City Manager Charles Strome to the Ecology & Natural Resources Advisory Committee, the Preservation Plan Advisory Committee and the African American Advisory Committee for the City of New Rochelle.

Stuart Reid – President of the Board of Directors

Stuart is a resident of New Rochelle, NY and the founder and co-chair of the Digital Divide Partners, a community-based technology service provider.  He is also the secretary of the Board of Directors of the Internet Society of New York, a worldwide organization that promotes the development of the Internet as a global technical resource for everyone.

Judith Weber – Vice President of the Board of Directors

Judith was raised in New Rochelle, NY and is an artist, educator and arts advocate.  She was the co-founder and developing partner of Media Loft, Westchester’s only  legal, live/work condominium for  artists located in New Rochelle, NY.  She is also the former President of the Board of Directors of the Clay Art Center in Port Chester, NY and the former President of the Board of Directors of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts.

Tom Buchanan – Secretary of the Board of Directors

Tom was born, raised and educated in Virginia.  Tom came to New York in 1975 after completing his service in the U.S. Navy.  He joined the Bankers Trust Company where he began a 35-year career in banking, investments and business development.  In 2013, he became the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of New Rochelle. Tom is especially interested in inter-faith work and relearning the history of our nation.

Nora Davis Day – Member of the Board of Directors

Nora answered phones and fan mail, and grounded herself in the artistic and political vision of her parents, Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee.  Later, as CEO and Executive Producer of Emmalyn II Productions and Dee-Davis Enterprises, Nora collaborated on some of their most exciting projects for stage, screen and television earning both an Emmy and a Grammy.  She has also distinguished herself as a published author, editor and language coach.

Amy Ehrlich, MD – Member of the Board of Directors

Amy is a geriatrics physician and a professor of medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  She is the Associate Chief of Geriatrics at Montefiore Medical Center and the Medical Director of Montefiore’s Home Health Agency.  Her clinical and research activities revolve around home safety, health prevention for older adults and screening for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.  In 2017, Amy joined grow! Lincoln Park Community Garden, where she collaborated with the leadership to help create the Native Plant and Butterfly Garden.  She has recently collaborated with other concerned citizens in New Rochelle to create a chapter of Healthy Yards.

Paul Zuber – Executive Vice President, The Business Council of New York State

Paul’s experience and unique insight as a government and policy professional was developed over two decades of working in key positions within the New York State Legislature and as a pivotal and successful advocate for clients on a range of policy areas.  After earning a JD from the University of Maryland, Paul joined the  New York State Senate Majority Counsel/Program staff. During his tenure, Paul became a highly respected advisor to the Majority Leader and key members of the Senate Conference. His particular issue areas covered a diverse range of key policy subjects including: transportation, racing and wagering, alcohol and beverage control, as well as NYS fiscal policy.  Paul represented the Senate in ongoing Budget negotiations with the Assembly and the Executive while in State service.

In 2010, Paul joined Albany Strategic Advisors as a Vice President and utilized many of the contacts and experience gained in the Senate to guide ASA’s clients through a multitude of complex issue areas relating to alcoholic beverage control, racing and wagering, MWBE compliance and enforcement, and labor relations.
