WE ARE PRESERVING, EDUCATING AND SHARING THE HISTORY OF A PLACE AND EXPANDING THE FOOD SYSTEM TO FEED THE FOOD INSECURE
Our mission, as a 501c3 non-profit organization, is to document, preserve, educate and promote the legacy of the historic African American Community of the Lincoln Avenue Corridor and its connection, both historically and present-day, to the larger global community. As part of our mission, addressing food insecurity is a goal that underpins our core belief in sustainability and human rights, especially for the marginalized and disadvantaged communities that lack access to resources and opportunities.
